We are a professional sauna builder, not a general contractor who takes the occasional sauna job. The difference lives in the parts of the build you never see again once the paneling goes up: a continuous foil vapor barrier lapped and taped at every seam, intake and exhaust placed where they will actually move air, heaters sized against the real cubic volume and glass area of your room, and benches set to your ceiling height so the top bench sits in the hot layer instead of below it.

• Licensed, insured and permitted. California Class B general building license, insured and bonded, with every electrical and building permit pulled and inspected rather than quietly skipped.
• Built for the coast. Salt air eats hardware. We specify stainless and marine-grade fasteners, corrosion-rated heater housings and sealed exterior penetrations as standard, not as an upgrade line item.
• One crew, one number. Drawing, approvals, framing, wiring, carpentry and commissioning all sit with us. Nothing gets handed between trades and nothing falls through the gap.
• Flat-rate quotes. The number you sign after the design phase covers the heater, the wood, the wiring, the venting and the permits. Nothing new appears on the final invoice.
• Every heat type. Electric and wood-fired traditional rooms, infrared, hybrid and steam. We are not tied to one manufacturer, so the recommendation follows your room rather than our inventory.
• Materials that belong in a hot room. Clear western red cedar, hemlock, Nordic spruce, thermo-aspen and abachi. No chemically treated framing lumber anywhere the heat can reach it.

Build the best saunas in Orange County, and build them so a room installed today is still worth using in twenty years. Newport Beach took to the wellness side of sauna early and there are a lot of expensive rooms along this coast that never quite reach temperature, benches set at the wrong height, and cedar going black behind a vapor barrier that stopped six inches short of the ceiling. We would rather talk a client down to a smaller heater than sell a bigger one, and we would rather push a start date than close a wall we are not happy with. Every homeowner who calls gets a straight answer about what their space can and cannot support, whether or not that answer ends in a sale.

Why Choosing the Right Sauna Builder Matters

Nearly everything that determines whether a sauna is any good is covered up before you ever see the finished room. That is what makes this a hard thing to buy well, and it is why the cheapest quote on the table is so often the most expensive one in the end.

• Unpermitted electrical. A 60-amp heater circuit run without a permit is a fire risk, an insurance problem and a disclosure item at resale, and it is the first corner cut on a low bid.
• A vapor barrier that stops short. Skip it, puncture it, or run it to within a foot of the ceiling and moisture moves straight into your framing. In this climate you find out in two or three winters, and by then the repair is a rebuild.
• Ventilation treated as optional. With no intake below the heater and no exhaust on the far wall the air goes flat, the room smells inside a year, and the floor stays cold while the top bench cooks.
• Hardware that was never rated for salt air. Zinc screws, mild-steel bands and an unsealed flue penetration will look fine on handover day and be weeping rust by the second summer on any lot within a mile of the sand.
• A heater sized off a chart. A glass door, an uninsulated outside wall and a tall ceiling each add to what the heater has to overcome. Pick the heater on square footage alone and you get a room that never quite arrives.
• Bench height guessed at. Heat stratifies hard. A bench set without reference to the ceiling puts your head in the cool layer, and no heater on the market fixes that afterwards.
• Treated lumber and sealed finishes. Pressure-treated framing and varnished linings both give off fumes once the room is at temperature. Neither belongs near a hot room, and both turn up in DIY builds constantly.
